Must Have - Experience in financial services

quantitative analysis/statistics , and

banking . 5+ years' experience as a functional SAS developer Hands-on experience with SAS tools deployed on SAS Experience extracting data on mainframe using JCL and SAS Connect Experience with taking business requirements, translating them into technical requirements, and then to convert to Implementable SAS solution. Knowledge must include architectural design, web part development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting implementations at an Enterprise-scale Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently Proven experience in developing functional applications and systems of medium to high technical complexity is required Expert use of SQL, experience with relational databases including DB2 and MS SQL Server What You'll Do

Technical Skills

SAS Platform Expertise : Provide day-to-day operation and support of the SAS platform. Re-write and enhance existing SAS reporting for the Commercial Credit Risk Strategy and Reporting group. Develop solutions including complete projects, proof of concepts, or code snippets. Automate legacy reports as new source platforms are integrated. Excel Proficiency : Strong command of

advanced Excel functions

(e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas). Experience with

data visualization

using Excel charts and dashboards. Ability to

integrate Excel with other tools

(e.g., SAS, SQL) for streamlined reporting and analysis. Unit Testing & Quality Assurance : Ability to design and implement

unit tests

for SAS code and data pipelines. Ability to document test cases/investigate root cause when applicable.. Project & Documentation Skills Provide project support to researchers and analysts using SAS analytics capabilities. Create data dissemination mechanisms that summarize data in a clear, user-friendly format. Provide knowledge transfer and training to team members. Successfully manage and contribute to

multiple initiatives simultaneously . Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 5+ years' experience as a functional SAS developer Hands-on experience with SAS tools deployed on SAS Experience extracting data on mainframe using JCL and SAS Connect Experience with taking business requirements, translating them into technical requirements, and then to convert to Implementable SAS solution.
