Optimum Sports is the dedicated sports marketing agency within OMG. Unlike traditional sports marketing agencies, Optimum Sports operates in both the Sports Sponsorship and Sports Media landscapes. We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Associate Director, Hospitality & Experiential join our Experiential & Hospitality team at Optimum Sports. This role will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact corporate & sponsorship related activation hospitality and experiential programs, including full-scale, multi-day marquee events that engage key stakeholders, elevate brand presence, and drive business outcomes.
The Associate Director will serve as a primary liaison across internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and partners to bring complex event experiences to life. With a blend of hospitality strategy, sponsorship marketing, and operational excellence, this role ensures flawless execution, measurable ROI, and alignment with the client's strategic objectives. This role will report to the Director of Hospitality and Experiential Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Event & Hospitality Leadership
Lead the strategic planning and execution of major, multi-day marquee corporate events, including VIP client experiences, brand showcases, and hospitality activations tied to corporate tentpole events, premier sponsorships and employee engagement programs Oversee end-to-end event lifecycle: budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, run-of-show development, branding, and post-event analysis. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event goals with broader marketing, brand, and business strategies. Partner with external agencies and third-party vendors to ensure seamless operational execution and world-class guest experiences. Sponsorship Integration
Evaluate and activate sponsorship assets with a focus on experiential delivery and executive hospitality. Collaborate with sponsorship, media, and insights teams to ensure event activations deliver maximum brand impact and return on investment. Monitor performance and effectiveness of event activations and recommend optimization strategies. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the day-to-day lead for executive clients, providing regular updates, strategic recommendations, and post-event reporting. Deliver high-impact presentations and briefings to senior leadership, incorporating key insights and strategic rationale. Team & Project Management
Manage one-direct-report and cross-functional teams in the development and execution of event strategy and deliverables. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a high standard of quality. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across all aspects of the events and hospitality function. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or Sports Management). 8+ years of experience in event management, corporate hospitality, or sponsorship marketing. Minimum 4+ years focused on high-profile, large-scale events. Minimum 4+ years of client-facing experience in a corporate or agency setting. Proven track record of leading multi-day, multi-stakeholder events with measurable success. Strong background in sports sponsorship, media integration, and experiential marketing. Experience across media channels (TV, digital, social) and how they intersect with live event experiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration platforms such as Teams Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Additional Information:
This role requires
10-20% domestic travel
to support on-site execution at key events and activations. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with executive-level stakeholders. A passion for live events, sports, entertainment, and brand storytelling is strongly encouraged.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$95,000-$110,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
