This role sits within the Services Delivery team and plays a key part in designing and delivering industrial automation solutions using AVEVA software. As a Solution Architect/Technical Leader, you'll lead end-to-end SCADA/HMI implementations, bridging IT and OT systems. Travel requirements vary depending on project and customer needs, with at least 50% travel expected, including domestic and international trips as necessary. Key responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of SCADA/HMI solutions using AVEVA Operations Control software.

Define and own solution architecture and technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer needs and AVEVA product capabilities.

Act as SME and discipline lead on engineering projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Support pre-sales efforts, technical documentation, risk management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Oversee testing, project delivery, and solution transition to support teams; mentor junior engineers.

Essential requirements: Proven experience with AVEVA software (System Platform, OMI, Historian, OI Servers).

Strong background in solution architecture, IT-OT integration, and project execution.

Proficiency in technical documentation, scheduling, and project scope/risk management.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Desired skills: Proficient in programming and integration using C#, .NET, SQL, and REST APIs; experienced with industrial protocols and control systems (PLC/DCS/IoT).

Skilled in interpreting P&IDs and system drawings, with hands-on experience in enterprise system integration (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and cybersecurity practices.

Strong understanding of OT/IT convergence, automation testing frameworks, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to proposals, perform gap analysis, manage technical scope, and drive successful project outcomes.
