Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a
Software Engineer Associate
in Manassas, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring a
Secret security clearance
(US Citizenship mandatory). The candidate will be responsible for: CI/CD Platform Development and Maintenance:
Design, implement, and integrate new capabilities into the CI/CD platform and product lines. Administer and maintain existing platforms, upgrade tools, address security, monitor tools, manage accounts, troubleshoot issues like service interruptions, build errors, access problems, etc. Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with agile teams to ensure software quality, providing guidance and mentoring. Documentation and Training:
Write and maintain technical documentation, train teams on CI/CD tools and best practices. Project Participation:
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field. Experience with Linux OS and command-line interface. Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, bash, Java, C++). US Citizenship (for security clearance). Desired Skills: Experience in Agile environments. Experience with CI tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Experience with Git version control. Experience with source code analysis tools like Coverity, SonarQube, Fortify. Proficiency in scripting with Python, bash, or others. Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines supporting containers. Managing environments with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Docker Compose). Security+ certification or experience with security controls based on STIGs. Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills.
