System Administrator I
Join a dynamic and growing team as a
System Administrator I , where you'll provide both onsite and remote IT support to help maintain high standards of technical service. We're seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented problem-solver with strong customer service skills and a passion for technology. In this role, you'll handle everything from system updates to advanced troubleshooting, ensuring seamless operations for end users. Key Responsibilities As a System Administrator I, you'll independently resolve a wide range of technical issues, including: Workstation operating system problems (Windows & macOS).
Printer and peripheral device issues.
Standard business application support (e.g., office productivity tools).
Line-of-business application support, including vendor coordination when needed.
Server-related troubleshooting and maintenance.
Basic to intermediate networking problems.
Serve as an escalation point for frontline technicians. Qualifications
Willingness to work in a hybrid setup - remotely or onsite as needed.
Minimum
3 years of IT support experience
or similar role.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows Server 2012-2022.
Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments.
Hands-on support of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Basic understanding of firewalls, switches, and network architecture.
Familiarity with Active Directory, endpoint security, backup tools, mobile device support, and common business applications.
Prior experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus.
Active server certifications preferred.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a vehicle for occasional onsite visits. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
First-touch resolution rate
- tickets resolved with a single time entry.
Utilization rate
- percentage of billable time on tickets.
Customer satisfaction (CSAT)
- feedback scores from end users. Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate:
$35.42-$43.36, based on experience and location.
