Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Nurse Manager
to lead its
Cardiac Stepdown Unit . This position plays a pivotal role in managing clinical operations, staff development, and patient care delivery for a high-acuity cardiac population. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit. Ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care is consistently delivered. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff to coordinate care plans and operational goals. Oversee unit staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives. Lead efforts in staff education, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness. Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license) Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred Minimum 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience in a cardiac or stepdown setting strongly preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Benefits Include:
