Description
The IT Support Specialist / System Administrator will oversee and maintain the organization's Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and endpoint security systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility. This role involves managing cloud-based solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams to support productivity tools and business operations.
Duties/Responsibilities Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive. Manage SharePoint Online, including site structure, permissions, workflows, and content organization. Oversee endpoint security, implementing policies to protect devices and networks from threats. Implement and update Intune Configuration and Security policies. Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve workflows and optimize system use. Conduct regular updates, patches, and security configurations for Microsoft 365 services. Ensure compliance with industry security standards and organizational policies. Provide technical support and training to users on best practices and new features. Serve as a backup resource for desktop and application support. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. Proficiency in endpoint security management, including policies and threat mitigation. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related enterprise software. Education and Experience
An associate or bachelor's degree in technology field or 3 years experience in a similar position Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, SharePoint Administrator, Security+, or CompTIA A+ preferred. Experience with Microsoft Intune/SCCM, Autopilot, and Defender for Endpoint Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds for handling some hardware installations.
