Network Engineer
Location: ON-SITE in Charlottesville, Virginia Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI Certifications Required: Security+ or Equivalent AND CCNA Top Skills: Must have an active TS/SCI Security+ CE AND CCNA Minimum (will have to get CCNP in 6 months) Layer 2-4 configuration, troubleshooting and design experience within a Cisco environment Must have Bachelor's degree AND 10+ years of IT experience OR Associates with 12+ years of experience Job Description: Provides installation and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems Designs, develops, implements, tests, debugs, and maintains communications systems Performs configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems and implements incident response procedures during incidents of a network or host security breach May provide leadership and direction to a team of specialists for these functions Reviews customer requirements and makes recommendations for changes to existing technical architecture Complies with prescribed customer, industry and agency standards This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret) Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
