Scan and geo-reference hardcopy maps, research, and order geospatial data sources and commercial imagery to use as reference sources. Georeferenced maps and imagery must be conflated with the GNDB. Interpret and apply national and international policies from organizations like the US BGN, DoS, NATO, etc. Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a BA degree with 8-12 years of experience or a Master's with 6-10 years of experience. Additional experience can substitute for degree. Minimum proficiency level 2 in Reading for all languages as per ILR standards, or willingness to pass such a test. Experience with ArcGIS or GeoMedia Pro, creating shapefiles, geo-databases, utilizing various maps, and mapping imagery. Advanced experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro and QGIS. Understanding of Geographic Names collection methodologies. Experience working in fast-paced environments, independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of GEOINT sources. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing. Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a POLY clearance are required. Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Python scripting. Regional geographic proficiency in the analyst's area of responsibility. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year. This job is currently active. #J-18808-Ljbffr
