We're looking for a versatile and proactive
IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer
to join our growing IT team. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across multiple domains including networking, cybersecurity, access management, and telecom systems.
Key Responsibilities Network & Telecom
o Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless infrastructure.
o Manage VoIP systems, mobile device connectivity, and telecom vendor relationships.
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Security
o Administer firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
o Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.
o Support compliance initiatives and maintain security documentation.
Access Management
o Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access controls (e.g., Azure AD, MFA).
o Maintain IAM policies and ensure least-privilege access across systems.
Systems Support
o Collaborate with IT support staff to resolve escalated infrastructure issues.
o Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
o Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Experience with security tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection).
Familiarity with VoIP systems (e.g., Cisco, RingCentral) and telecom troubleshooting.
Proficiency with identity and access management platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Azure Administrator) are preferred.
