We are excited to announce a career opportunity for which we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the Senior Project Manager Healthcare Buildings role in San Diego, CA. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for management of the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and activation of one or more healthcare buildings working alongside other project managers as part of a healthcare system facilities master plan. We'll look to you to manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design, construction and consulting contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects. You'll manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications as well as change orders. You will function as an extension of the client's internal project management department and be a steward for the client's goals. This is an on site, client facing position and you will represent the client to designers, contractors, consultants, AHJ's and other stakeholders. You will report directly to the client and Jacobs program manager. Your role keeps our company connected and we'll support you with what you need to be successful. Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent combination of healthcare and significant related experience. 10+ years of related design and construction project management experience. Strong working knowledge of design, pre-construction, building systems components and technology, contract management (GMP/ lump sum), project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building. Strong working knowledge in vendor procurements, change order negotiation, budget and schedule management, and client satisfaction. Experience delivering OSHPD 1 Projects. Experience delivering new construction projects. Willing to relocate to San Diego, CA. Ideally, you will also have: Delivered a new OSHPD 1 facility. Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification. Posted Salary Range
The base salary range for this position is $150,500.00 to $207,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
