The Sr. Software Project Manager will lead a global software engineering team using Agile methods to deliver comprehensive care coordination software integrated with patient monitoring enterprise systems for the global healthcare market. This role manages project scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and risks for care coordination software designed to enhance patient monitoring and streamline healthcare workflows. It requires a strong understanding of managing multiple software projects through Agile processes, high interaction with development teams, and collaboration during various product development phases involving hardware and software integration. Must have experience managing software engineering product development projects, working cross-functionally with hardware, quality, systems, and product management teams, and excellent communication skills with technical peers, customers, and executives. This position can be fully remote or hybrid from Snoqualmie or Oklahoma City. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of medical device software development project deliverables. Coordinate backlog tasks and project deliverables across all resources, collaborating with the program management team. Manage project scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely milestone achievement. Translate domain knowledge of care coordination and patient monitoring into managing detailed backlogs of features for development teams to execute in sprints. Ensure requirements are clear and actionable for the software team. Manage documentation for the Document History File (DHF) to meet FDA and global regulatory requirements. Follow a risk-based approach with design reviews aligned with the Quality Management System. Collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Electrical, Regulatory, Systems, Operations, Field Service, and Verification. Assign, track, and follow-up on tasks, removing obstacles. Uphold company values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Report quality problems or defects for corrective actions. Perform duties as needed to meet business needs. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. 12+ years experience in software product development from R&D to commercialization. 3+ years experience in medical device design and development, familiar with 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, IEC 62304. 3+ years experience managing Agile software projects. 5+ years hands-on experience in object-oriented software development (not hands-on coding in this role but previous experience required). 2+ years experience with cloud hosting (AWS preferred). Experience with integrated hardware/software device development is a plus. Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps is a plus. Experience coordinating international teams is a plus.
