Position Summary Responsible for managing and coordinating various clinical activities within the department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient care delivery and efficient operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Patient Coordination: Overseeing patient flow, scheduling, and ensuring timely appointments and procedures.General Coordination: Primary point of contact for all coordination of Botox treatments, EMU admissions, direct hospital admissions and other clinic coordination as assignedRooming Patients: Preparing patients for their visits by obtaining medical history, vital signs, reconciling medications and other relevant information.Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing medical supplies and equipment to ensure the clinic has the necessary resources.Team Support: Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other staff to streamline clinical processes and improve patient care.Compliance & Quality Control: Ensuring that clinical practices follow relevant healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices.This role is often found in settings like outpatient clinics, medical practices, and hospitals, where there's a need for both clinical support and organizational coordination. The Clinical Coordinator Specialist typically acts as a liaison between clinical staff and patients, ensuring that day-to-day operations run efficiently.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience2-4 years of experience in the field or a similar combination of education and experience in a related area. Bachelor's degree, CNA preferred.Competencies Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA). Must be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
