Leads and generates technical solutions including specifying of requirements, functional decomposition, analysis, development and testing for current, new, and major programs. Leads development of software system team design content and software anomaly corrections. Performs complex design analysis. Specifies and balances system requirements. Provides, communicates, and supports common best practices among software community. Develops and maintains new automated driving features with requirements and test cases for in-vehicle embedded software. Develops behavioral models in Simulink that define the way these features will work. Develops and releases software features in ANSI C. Performs feature and integration builds of software. Defines and executes unit and integration tests and analyzes results to ensure the software is functioning properly. Conducts and participates in peer reviews of software artifacts. Knows and applies all applicable standards and processes in execution of the above to ensure the features developed are the best they can be. Contributes to the development of standards and processes for the above key elements that the team can use while they develop software. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Staff Engineer, or related role. Five years of experience with: Building high-quality model-based embedded software using Simulink; CAN, Flexray, and other network topologies and interfaces; Coding and script writing in Matlab; Simulink and Stateflow; Reading and writing in C and C++; Creating and executing SW architecture block diagrams; and Analyzing Serial Data including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
