Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Data/Business Modeler

to support our

Enterprise Business Model (EBM)

initiative. In this role, you will define and align data entities across the mortgage loan lifecycle by collaborating with key business and technical stakeholders. Your work will play a critical role in transforming how enterprise data is structured, governed, and leveraged across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes, loan lifecycle stages, and data requirements to define EBM-aligned entities and attributes. Leverage existing business information models, source system schemas, and downstream data requirements to guide modeling decisions. Map and align source system entities to standardized EBM structures, including field definitions, business rules, and semantic alignment. Ensure consistent and standardized representation of key domains such as

loan ,

borrower ,

property ,

servicing , and

securitization . Collaborate closely with

data governance ,

data engineering , and

product

teams to validate and refine EBM entities and their interrelationships. Reference and incorporate

MISMO standards

and industry best practices to ensure compliance and interoperability. Maintain comprehensive model documentation, including

version control ,

business definitions , and

transformation traceability . Facilitate model review and approval processes with business stakeholders, modeling workgroups, and enterprise data architecture teams. Required Experience and Skills: 4-7 years

of professional experience in

data modeling ,

business modeling , or

information architecture

roles. Proven ability to define

logical

and

conceptual data models , including entity-relationship (ER) diagrams and semantic models. Solid understanding of the

mortgage industry , including the

loan lifecycle ,

servicing ,

securitization , and

investor reporting . Experience working with industry organizations such as

Fannie Mae ,

Freddie Mac ,

Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) , or similar. Hands-on familiarity with the

MISMO data model

and the ability to extend or customize it for enterprise use. Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile and translate complex data across business and technical contexts. Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience contributing to or leading

enterprise data transformation

or

modernization

programs. Proficiency with data modeling tools such as

ER/Studio ,

Erwin ,

PowerDesigner , or similar platforms. Exposure to

metadata management

and

data governance

tools such as

Collibra ,

Alation , or similar. Familiarity with

data architecture frameworks

and

enterprise modeling methodologies .
