Position Summary The

Weekend Receptionist

serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position is responsible for greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, providing general administrative support, and maintaining a professional and welcoming front desk environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist all visitors, vendors, and residents' family members in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system. Ensure that all visitors sign in and out per facility policy. Monitor visitor compliance with facility protocols (e.g., infection control, mask usage, sign-in procedures). Provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying as needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Support emergency procedures by following communication protocols. Maintain confidentiality and security of resident and facility information at all times. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Proficient with basic office equipment (phone systems, copier, scanner, computer). Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook). Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. Friendly, patient, and courteous attitude with residents and families Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Prior receptionist or clerical experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or SNF setting.
