Responsibilities include classroom instruction, program operations, student success, staffing, and collaboration with university leadership to ensure program growth and fiscal health. Key Responsibilities
Perform instructional duties as per faculty guidelines. Develop and oversee the Program Advisory Council (PAC). Participate in faculty development annually. Manage faculty recruitment, training, and development. Administer and grow the program, including curriculum development, student advisement, and community relations. Support student completion and enrollment strategies. Collaborate with other academic leaders on scheduling, faculty sharing, and curriculum. Notify relevant parties of substantive program changes and accreditation status. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. Manage accreditation activities and reporting requirements. Supervise faculty and staff supporting the program. Continuously review and improve educational processes. Maintain regular contact with all educational stakeholders. Ensure clinical education standards and educational guidance are met. Perform additional duties as assigned by university leadership. Position Requirements
At least two years of university-level teaching and management experience. Certified as an Anesthesiologist Assistant by NCCAA or successor. Graduate degree in education, administration, medicine, or related sciences. Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with administrative software and office applications. Work Environment Travel may be required for conferences and meetings. The role involves regular talking, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for disabilities.
