P&C IT Services provides professional support to help our business units and corporate functions leverage technology to improve information management and business processes. Services include software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, access rights management, equipment and software procurement, infrastructure management, and security procedures. Our goal is to deliver technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give us a competitive edge. Our Great American Software Lab (G.A.S. Lab) is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team on a hybrid schedule based in Cincinnati. We seek someone passionate about solving problems, eager for new challenges, and committed to product and Cloud Native Development (CND) practices. The G.A.S. Lab promotes a highly collaborative environment to swiftly deliver high-quality products that provide clear business value. We achieve this through a Product Mindset, User-Centered Design, Extreme Programming, and Cloud Native Development. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Individual Contributor: Actively participate in cross-functional product teams to discover, design, and build valuable solutions. Lead and facilitate product team ceremonies and discovery activities. Provide product model coaching and enablement to other IT teams outside the G.A.S. Lab. Assist in leading, facilitating, or participating in discovery activities across the IT organization. Leadership: Embodies and promotes IT's guiding principles: Know Their Business, Do What We Say, Run to the Fire, Learn to Change, Stand Together, Performance Matters, and Do Better Every Day. Collaborates closely with customer stakeholders, product/project managers, and technical teams to understand customer objectives, capabilities, and priorities. Partners with Product Leadership on enterprise practices and large-scale transformation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and listening skills across various organizational levels. Ability to support multiple products and domains. Experience working in a product model is preferred. Experience coaching or mentoring others is preferred. Insurance industry experience is preferred. XP/CND experience is a plus. Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Experience:
Generally, at least 6 years of related experience. XP and CND practices are advantageous.
