The incumbent reports to the site mill manager and oversees CI and capability development for complex processes, equipment, and personnel, coaching teams to identify and close gaps in processes and culture. Responsibilities include implementing loss control, championing safety, supporting quality improvements, managing organizational transformation, leading change management initiatives, and driving continuous improvement programs across the site. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of manufacturing experience, significant expertise in engineering, operations, Lean manufacturing, and maintenance, with a Six Sigma Black Belt or progressing towards it. Leadership, strategic planning, project management, and change management skills are essential, along with experience in multiple mills and staff leadership. Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable. The role requires flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, travel up to 15%, and working in a manufacturing environment. It includes direct reports (2 salaried roles), indirect reports (4 hourly roles), and support for 350 employees plus contractors.
