Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves The Learn Academy is a state-certified, K-12 private day school in California for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurological disorders.
Our comprehensive services — available across the South Bay, Peninsula, and San Francisco Bay Area — are designed to meet the unique needs of each student. We are a division of LEARN Academy, a national leader in special education, academic intervention, and behavioral services for autism.

What You Have
Master's Degree
BCBA Certification & License
State of California BA License
First Aid Certification
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong positive communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work well with parents, children, and professionals
Maintain requirements set forth by the BACB and California Board of Psychology
Attend trainings as directed by the Directors
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, twisting, walking, running, and standing for extended periods
What You’ll Be Doing
Attend staff and IEP meetings regularly
Spend approximately 75% of time in direct interactions with staff and students, and 25% on other tasks
Coach and train classroom staff, track training levels
Supervise data collection, create data sheets, evaluate data regularly
Complete functional behavioral assessments as needed
Develop behavior plans and protocols
Deliver staff training on behavior plans and protocols
Develop behavior, social IEP goals and collaborate on VB goals with teachers, ensuring compliance with IEP timelines
Report progress and provide graphs on behavior goals to teachers
Create data sheets for behavior, social, or VB goals in collaboration with professionals
Collect, graph, and interpret behavior data
Assist with assessments
Develop goals compliant with insurance regulations and submit reports timely
Update student data books regularly
Conduct staff performance reviews
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Review incident reports and notify Directors when necessary
Maintain communication with other professionals, including outside providers
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Directors
Act in accordance with the mission, values, policies, and procedures of Creative Learning Center
