Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for
high-level project oversight, strategic decision-making, and acting as the liaison between Lead Project Managers and executive management . This role ensures that all projects align with Falcon Construction’s financial, operational, and quality objectives while driving continuous improvement across teams. The Sr. PM plays a key role in managing high-value projects, developing company-wide project strategies, and resolving critical escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
Company-Wide Project Oversight
Provide strategic leadership across multiple Lead PMs, PMs, and APMs Oversee the full portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency in execution and adherence to company objectives Directly manage high-risk, high-value, or complex projects as needed
Team Leadership & Development
Act as a mentor and resource for Lead PMs, providing coaching and guidance Review team performance, identifying opportunities for growth and professional development Ensure that PMs are following best practices and adhering to company-wide processes
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a liaison between Lead PMs and executive management, providing strategic updates and insights Build and maintain long-term client relationships, focusing on repeat business and strategic partnerships Act as an escalation point for client concerns beyond the Lead PM level
Financial & Budgeting Oversight
Oversee financial performance across the project portfolio, ensuring profitability targets are met Monthly meeting with executive team about financial health and cost overruns Establish and track key financial metrics, ensuring PMs and Lead PMs are aligned with budgeting goals Review and approve financial strategies, project budgets, and forecasting models
Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify inefficiencies in project execution and develop new project management standards Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, cost control, and overall project performance Ensure all projects comply with regulatory, contractual, and safety requirements
Issue Escalation & Conflict Resolution
Resolve critical escalations beyond the Lead PM level Work closely with executive leadership to implement strategic solutions for company-wide challenges Proactively mitigate risks across all project operations
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong leadership, mentorship, and strategic decision-making abilities Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-risk, or high-value projects Expertise in financial oversight, budgeting, and project profitability analysis Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Ability to balance day-to-day project execution with long-term company strategy
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and bend Must be able to communicate clearly with executive teams, clients, and field staff Occasional travel to job sites and company meetings may be required
