Job Description Under the direction of the Manager, this role supports the execution of compliance risk management activities across the organization. This position contributes to the implementation and maintenance of various compliance programs, assists in monitoring regulatory adherence, supports policy development, and participates in compliance-related reviews and assessments. Assists in ensuring the business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act. Responsibilities
Participates in quality assurance reviews and data integrity testing to identify potential compliance gaps or operational risks. Assists in documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. Contributes to the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials. Ensures content reflects current regulatory expectations and supports employee understanding of compliance obligations. Reviews marketing materials, disclosures, brochures, and customer-facing documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws and internal standards. Assists with oversight of the vendor management program by reviewing third-party compliance documentation, risk assessments, and due diligence materials to ensure adherence to the bank’s standards. Stays informed of emerging regulatory developments and assesses their potential impact on bank operations, products, and services. Collaborates with compliance officers, legal counsel, risk management, and business units to support enterprise-wide compliance initiatives. Prepares documentation and responses for internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance testing activities. Maintains accurate records of compliance activities. Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum 2 years in legal or regulatory compliance of banking laws and regulations preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with bank software and systems. Other Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to discuss and offer solutions on compliance issues, problem-solving skills, knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings. Must have own transportation and be able to travel as needed.
