Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bureau Content Analyst to join our insurance operations team. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and implementing circulars and regulatory content from insurance bureaus such as ISO, NCCI, and state-specific authorities. The analyst ensures accurate and timely updates to insurance products, forms, and rating algorithms in compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Circular Monitoring & Analysis:
Monitor, track, and analyze bureau circulars from ISO, NCCI, and state bureaus (e.g., NYDFS, NJDOBI). Identify and summarize changes related to rates, rules, forms, and statistical reporting. Impact Assessment:
Collaborate with SME and IT teams to assess the impact of bureau changes on insurance products. Prepare impact analysis documentation for internal stakeholders. Content Implementation:
Coordinate implementation of bureau updates into rating engines, policy administration systems, and document generation tools. Ensure form and rate filings are prepared accurately when deviations or independent filings are required. Compliance Assurance:
Ensure all implemented changes align with regulatory guidelines and filing approvals. Maintain audit trails of circulars, decisions, and implementation timelines. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate circular changes and recommended actions to product managers, and IT teams. Support internal training and awareness sessions regarding regulatory updates. Reporting:
Maintain dashboards and reports for circular status, upcoming deadlines, and compliance metrics. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in regulatory compliance or product management. Strong knowledge of ISO, NCCI, and state regulatory structures. Experience with P&C lines such as Commercial Auto, GL, Property, or Workers' Compensation. Familiarity with rate/form filings and insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire, Insurity, Duck Creek) is a plus. Seniority level
