Chief Strategy Officer of Influencer Marketing at Creo

Team Overview

Creo is Omnicom Media Group’s (OMG) Influencer marketing agency. Our mission is to connect brands with authentic influencers, delivering data-driven influencer planning and activation as an integral part of our clients’ media strategies. To enhance our strategic capabilities, we are adding horizontally tasked Head of Influencer Strategy to our leadership team. In this role, you will develop strategic initiatives that tie our innovative capabilities and creative thinking to key client outcomes through robust and effective strategies.

Reporting Relationship: The Head of Influencer Strategy reports to the President, Creo.

Responsibilities Include

Develop and lead the overarching strategic vision and team for Creo’s influencer marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends. Envision, develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of strategists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Collaborate closely with the Head of Influencer Creative & Content, as well as account management and client investment teams, to develop comprehensive strategies that integrate creative and media components. Identify emerging trends in influencer marketing and provide strategic insights that inform campaign development and execution. Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders, effectively communicating strategic insights and opportunities. Spearhead client pitches at the executive level inclusive of new business, showcasing Creo’s innovative capabilities and influence in the marketplace. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth within the influencer marketing landscape. Regularly assess campaign performance in combination with the Head of Influencer Marketing Science, delivering actionable recommendations for optimization and enhanced effectiveness. Lead strategic discussions with external partners, including influencers and activation teams, to streamline collaboration and maximize campaign impact. Monitor industry developments and best practices, ensuring that Creo remains at the forefront of influencer marketing strategy.

Required Education And Experience

5+ years of proven experience in a senior strategic role, specifically within influencer marketing on either the brand-side or advertising agency environment. 10+ years of strong leadership responsibility and a demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and lead a high-performing strategy team. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop data-driven strategies that drive results. In-depth knowledge of influencer marketing trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to articulate strategic vision and complex concepts to diverse audiences. Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Passion for innovation and an eagerness to explore new methodologies and technologies in the influencer space.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$200,000—$275,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
