Provide cybersecurity strategic advisory and assistance services Enhance the quality and integrity of federal security programs Analyze and suggest improvements to security architecture Engage stakeholders to strengthen security capabilities Ensure software compliance with regulations Build custom Splunk scripts and applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure solutions Design custom Splunk searches, reports, and programming Develop proof of concept documents Work with UNIX, Linux, and Windows server teams to resolve configuration issues Perform vulnerability scans using tools like Tenable Nessus, SecurityCenter, Acunetix, Arachni, and AppDetective Pro Evaluate scan findings to identify false positives and recommend mitigation strategies Qualifications: Over 3 years of relevant experience, including host and web application scanning Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles At least 1 year of Splunk experience Hands-on experience in large enterprise IT environments (500+ servers) Knowledge of hardware platforms Preferred experience with Splunk, SecurityCenter, Nessus, Arachni, and related tools Requirements: Use creativity to solve complex security problems Promote innovative ideas to improve clients' cybersecurity posture Support high-profile clients in government and Fortune 500 sectors Assist in developing enterprise cybersecurity applications Maintain a positive, energetic approach in fast-paced teams Collaborate effectively with diverse team members Excel in dynamic, agile environments Approach new challenges with enthusiasm and commitment Thrive in entrepreneurial settings from startup to growth phases Clearance: TOP SECRET/SCI clearance preferred All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
