CNA Tuition Assistance Program: Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) will cover the full cost of a State approved Nurse Aide Training Program (up to a maximum amount of $3,500) and a one-time exam fee towards your CNA Certification. Additionally, if you plan to transition to an associate or bachelor’s level nursing program, OPH offers tuition assistance up to $5,000 per calendar year after one year of employment, and multiple opportunities to grow within our organization. Eligibility Requirements: Must work 30 days or more as a part-time or full-time Care Assistant, Nurse Aide, or Certified Nurse Aide at selected OPH community. Must be age 18 or above by program end date with employment in good standing CNA Tuition Assistance application must be submitted 30 days after hire date, and within 90 days of completing Nurse Aide Training Program…Apply for employment today!! The Position: Care Assistants, Nurse Aides, and Certified Nurse Aide help us with providing nursing care and services to residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living.Your journey begins with any of the following 3 entry points and will progress as you complete each step. Care Assistant (120 day) position is a temporary position available to students currently enrolled or plan to enroll in a Nurse Aide Training Program. Care Assistants assist staff with non-direct care, providing additional resources to CNA staff. Nurse Aide (120 day) is a temporary position for students that completed their Nurse Aide Training Program and plan to take final State certification exam (Prometric Exam). Nurse Aides are trained to provide nursing care and services to our residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living. Certified Nurse Aide position is awarded to students upon passing final State certification exam (Prometric Exam). Employment Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent / Must be age 18 by end of Nurse Aide Training Program. Complete State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program. Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire. Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
