Job Description We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between vision and execution, working closely with Engineering and Product teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring high-quality product delivery. Your work will be pivotal in bringing a first-class product to market that addresses critical customer needs and ensures compliance with industry standards in access management and governance. You will play a key role in ensuring that features are delivered with precision, security, speed, and scalability. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help us deliver a solution that exceeds customer requirements, drives value, and supports long-term success. Key Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into actionable user stories. Work closely with Project Management to understand IAM, access compliance, and governance requirements, ensuring clear communication to engineering teams. Collaborate with Product Management to understand the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with goals. Work with Engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Participate actively in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, refining and prioritizing the backlog based on requirements, dependencies, and security standards. Work with QA teams to ensure features meet requirements and are thoroughly tested before release. Coordinate with product, engineering, and documentation teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Provide support and training for internal teams and users to ensure understanding of new features. QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications like PMP or Scrum are a plus. Experience
3-5 years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, ideally focused on IAM, access compliance, and governance. Hands-on experience with IAM technologies and access governance frameworks. Strong understanding of compliance regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and NIST. Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a results-oriented approach. Technical Skills
Experience with Agile methodologies, managing backlogs, priorities, and sprints. Knowledge of IAM tools, technologies, and collaboration with engineering teams. Understanding of SaaS infrastructures and cloud integrations. Familiarity with SDLC and web application security considerations. Soft Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands. Problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements for technical audiences. Nice to Have
Development experience or familiarity with IAM solution development. Pre- or post-sales IAM experience, understanding customer lifecycle and requirements.
