This hands-on, full-time role will oversee both the accounting and lease administration functions for a portfolio that includes retail, commercial, and mixed-use real estate. The ideal candidate brings both accuracy and practical judgment to a lean environment, operating independently with direct interaction with principals and trusted external partners. This is an on-site role, 4–5 days per week, requiring a candidate who is dependable, discreet, and values continuity in a small office setting. Key Responsibilities Include: • Full-cycle accounting across multiple entities and real estate asset types • Retail and commercial lease administration, including abstraction, CAM/NNN reconciliations, and tracking of rent escalations and recoveries • Monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash management • Reviewing property manager packages, vendor statements, and tenant billings • Supporting annual budgeting, partner distributions, and tax planning with external CPAs • Maintaining and improving internal systems • Preparing agendas and reports for recurring ownership meetings • Ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in all activities Qualifications: • 7+ years of accounting experience with a focus on retail or commercial real estate • Demonstrated hands-on experience with lease administration for retail assets (CAM, NNN, escalations, etc.) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Experience with multi-entity environments, property management teams, and third-party vendors • Strong organizational skills and comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial office • Professional discretion and reliability in a confidential setting What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a reliable, steady presence—someone who takes pride in clean books, meticulous lease administration, and clear, consistent communication with principals and partners.
