Our client is seeking a Sr. product Manager to set product vision and strategy, understand customer needs, prioritize features, and manage product backlog and roadmap. This role involves managing key stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of valuable products in an iterative and Agile manner while defining solutions that meet customer needs across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Drive a customer-first mindset and develop product positioning through a clear vision and roadmap aligned with organizational strategy. Own and prioritize the program backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and manage features with Agile teams. Apply design thinking to identify customer pain points and operate within Agile and SAFe frameworks. Manage a team of three: Sr. Product Owner, Supervisor of Business Analysis, and Business Analyst III.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field with 12 years of related experience. Experience in IT and business/industry with increasing responsibilities and direct customer interaction. Experience with project management processes, Agile development methodologies, and investment systems. Previous management experience required. Basic understanding of coding, API design, data analysis, and A/B testing techniques.
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365, Jira, Confluence, Cloud platforms, and SQL. Ability to travel regularly for member meetings and events throughout the U.S.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client to sit in their New York, NY office. Employee benefits include Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k). H-1B Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. No third-parties, please.
