Verkada is looking for a Sales Development (Marketing) Manager that will hire, onboard and train a team of highly driven and hardworking lead qualification professionals! The Marketing (Sales) Development team is the first interaction with prospective Verkada customers and is key to the success of Verkada. Our ideal candidate for this role has proven experience in leading, building, and motivating a team to achieve daily, monthly and quarterly targets. In addition to working with Demand Generation to streamline process optimization and build for the future, you’ll help maintain open lines of communication with the sales organization at Verkada. Responsibilities

Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Development (Marketing) Reps. Develop the sales acumen, product knowledge, and industry expertise of each team member. Identify workflow inefficiencies and build workflows for the future. Prioritize improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity. Regularly report on Team/Individual KPI’s - Call volume, lead quality, down funnel metrics and pipeline, etc. Work closely with our Growth Marketing team. Work closely with Sales Managers and AEs to ensure lead quality/quantity and efficient follow-up. Requirements

2+ years in Software sales 1+ years of management experience, with a consistent track record of building a great working environment Proven track record of building inbound and outbound sales processes Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University Consistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor Outstanding time management and communication skills Solid understanding of sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Clay, etc.) Experience leading and improving critical metrics Experience running successful 1 on 1's and weekly/monthly team meetings Experience handling individual and management expectations (Managing Up) Additional Notes: You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, at this time.
