VP/Director – Product Structuring & Origination
to join its New York office. This newly created senior position will play a critical role in shaping product strategy, developing private markets offerings, and expanding access through institutional and private wealth channels. Key Responsibilities Lead new fund formation and product launches across flagship and bespoke private market strategies. Tailor existing fund structures to meet the needs of diverse distribution channels, including private wealth and institutional platforms. Develop and deliver strategic proposals for SMAs, feeders, and co-investment structures. Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, compliance, operations, and investment teams to manage the full product lifecycle. Manage distributor and platform onboarding, including legal documentation and side-letter negotiations. Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to inform strategic product development. As a VP Product Structurer, you will be responsible for helping to support global product strategy, formation, and execution . Your Experience 10+ years
in product structuring or a related role within investment banking, asset management, or private markets legal practice. Strong understanding of private equity, private credit, and alternative investment fund structures. Experience working with complex, cross-jurisdictional fund structures, including U.S. Registered Investment Companies. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and a solutions-driven mindset. Experience with legal documentation, platform negotiations, and fund onboarding is highly desirable.
