Summary of Responsibilities The Regional Vice President of Operations will be responsible for leading a specified region in executing ongoing business operations aligned with the brand and growth objectives. This includes overseeing daily operations to support franchise locations, leading financial and operational performance, managing the development and implementation of field initiatives, and driving alignment, capabilities, and engagement throughout the Operations organization. They will oversee a team working closely with Supply Chain, IT, General Counsel, and Finance, fostering alignment of leadership and employees with brand goals. The role involves managing all aspects of restaurant operations within the region to achieve sales growth and profitability through high-quality service and products. Essential Job Responsibilities People leadership:
Develop and lead a field-based team to drive results, motivate team members, and influence franchisees to meet regional objectives. Financial & Operational Skills:
Manage regional P&L and KPIs, drive revenue and profitability, participate in strategic planning and budgeting. Market Development:
Collaborate on growth opportunities, optimize markets through new cafes, relocations, and transfers, support development strategies. Franchise Leadership:
Maintain strong relationships with franchisees, provide operational expertise, and represent the brand effectively. Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead company functions, ensure team accountability, and work with senior management. Menu, Tech & Operations Execution:
Lead field teams in executing marketing, tech initiatives, and operational standards, ensuring readiness and excellence. Brand Ambassadorship:
Act as a passionate champion of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe concept and brand story. Required Experience 15+ years in hospitality management, ideally in fast casual, with franchise experience. Proven P&L, budgeting, guest service, and people management skills. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial skills. Experience in training management and industry-leading programs. Educational Requirements Undergraduate degree required; an MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus. Working Conditions Travel approximately 30% for meetings and site visits. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
