The role involves managing major projects for municipal and educational clients, with some local travel for inspections and project management. We currently have positions available in Miami-Dade. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Duties, Responsibilities, And Qualifications
Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change. Work with stakeholders to define project parameters and translate needs into formal requirements. Develop project schedules, resource plans, and status reports, managing tasks and scope throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project schedule, budget, and profitability, overseeing plans, specifications, and proposals. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, city, and state regulations. Supervise construction progress and report on timelines and adjustments. Coordinate with other design disciplines. Collaborate on long-term planning and staffing, evaluate, and mentor staff. Review and develop layouts, plans, specifications, estimates, standards, and reports. Assist in technical proposals and labor estimates. Maintain positive client relationships. Manage multiple projects and lead technical proposal development. Represent projects at meetings and conferences. Support proposal development and client relations. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum five years of experience in project development, management, and inspection, with knowledge of construction principles. Experience managing multiple projects and dealing with municipal agencies. Professional Engineering License or Registered Architect License in Florida required. Building Official License in Florida is a plus. Municipal inspections experience required. We offer a salary range of $105,000-$140,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, insurance options, wellness programs, tuition assistance, and employee discounts.
