Position Summary: Our insurance industry client is undergoing an acquisition and has engaged SolomonEdwards to provide Project Management support within the HR Transformation space. This initiative is crucial for driving the client’s growth and long-term success by enhancing HR functions across data, people, processes, and technologies. As a SolomonEdwards Consultant, you will collaborate with external consultancy firms and systems integration partners, acting as a key representative of the client while partnering with these third-party organizations. Experience serving as an extension of HR or technology teams is essential. We seek experienced Project Managers with a background in HR, transformation initiatives, acquisition integrations, and HR operational frameworks. Candidates should have over 10 years of professional experience in HR project management, with prior experience in management consulting and Fortune 500 environments being highly desirable. Success in large-scale HR transformations and M&A projects is required. NBA experience is a plus. Essential Duties: Lead complex, cross-functional enterprise projects. Coordinate with diverse project teams, ensuring project scope, schedule, and budget are met. Influence and lead project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members to achieve project goals. Define, analyze, and maintain project scope, plans, resources, and risk assessments. Create and maintain an Epic and Features roadmap aligned with business objectives. Prioritize Epics and Features with stakeholders based on business value. Update the roadmap regularly to reflect changing priorities. Build and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making. Support organizational change management efforts. Engage senior leaders and stakeholders to resolve challenges. Demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive approach. Manage confidential and sensitive HR information. Qualifications: 7-10 years of progressive experience in project/program management, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Ability to coach teams on Agile principles and practices. Experience breaking down Epics into manageable features and user stories. Strong analytical skills to assess impacts on project timelines and deliverables. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT and vendors. Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency in MS Office tools and collaboration platforms like SharePoint, MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Planview. Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, risk management, and process improvement. Background in strategic management or management consulting is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: MBA, PMP, or relevant certifications. Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and influence. Self-starter with leadership experience, organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple work streams. Knowledge of HR domains such as talent acquisition, HR operations, and compensation. Experience with Global Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. Experience implementing Workday. Travel Requirements:
