Role: Operations HSSE Lead Role Purpose: Support and implement health, safety, security, and environmental initiatives across operational activities. Collaborate with the HSSE Manager and stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and standards, fostering a proactive safety culture. Responsibilities: Communicate role expectations clearly and provide timely, actionable feedback. Engage with EMGL Safety & OIMS Supervisor to promote collaboration and synergy. Implement corporate HSSE standards, procedures, and practices in coordination with the HSSE Manager and end-users. Align the HSSE Plan with corporate, operational, and legal guidelines, reflecting SBM Offshore’s high standards. Manage the Incident Management System (IFS), ensuring actions are tracked, and lessons learned are communicated for continuous improvement. Ensure audit readiness and oversee HSSE-related actions, including root cause analysis. Monitor KPIs, support performance tracking, and flag constraints to the HSSE Manager. Stay informed of corporate programs, market practices, client, and legal requirements to promote a safety culture. Refine procedures with key end-users to ensure practicality and alignment with best practices. Oversee contractor HSSE compliance through inspections and reviews. Support HSSE budget management and flag issues. Manage HSSE documentation and records for compliance. Oversee HSSE training programs to ensure standards and safety culture enhancement. Identify risks and opportunities, advising operations on mitigation strategies. Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 7-10 years in HSSE roles, preferably in offshore oil and gas or high-risk sectors.
