Role Overview The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager across all project aspects. The role involves oversight of the Project Engineer, focusing on document control, subcontractor coordination, communication with design teams, project reporting, and representing Consigli throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Serve as a main contact for communication with Owners, OPMs, and Design Teams.

Coordinate weekly meetings with subcontractors, design teams, and owner representatives to resolve field conflicts.

Support project cost and change management, preparing reports for review and presentation.

Assist in developing estimates and bid proposals for lump sum and GMP projects.

Oversee and manage the Project Engineer’s responsibilities, including document control, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.

Mentor and develop supporting team members, including Project Engineers.

Maintain relationships with subcontractors, including managing schedules and contract compliance.

Coordinate with the Project Scheduler to update and distribute the project schedule.

Assist in resolving critical project issues, RFIs, and quality, cost, and schedule concerns.

Manage project closeout processes, including documentation and warranties.

Oversee financial closeout with subcontractors and owners.

Manage punch lists, work completion logs, and field reports.

Participate in safety walks and record observations.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.

3-5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.

OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 certifications preferred.

Proficiency with cost management, scheduling, and construction management software (e.g., Timberline, Primavera P6, Procore).

Strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and team collaboration skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
