Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Slot Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of all slot-related activities at Caesars New Orleans. This includes Slot Operations, Slot Performance, and related technology and analytics. The role ensures optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional guest experience while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of Slot Operations and Slot Performance, including floor layout, machine mix, product innovation, and team leadership. Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize slot revenue, profitability, and guest engagement. Oversee performance analysis of slot machines and systems to identify trends, optimize configurations, and improve yield. Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Formulate long-range plans, budgets, and departmental policies to support operational and financial goals. Manage capital planning and budgeting for slot-related investments, upgrades, and new technologies. Review slot machine performance metrics and initiate corrective actions as needed to maintain optimal performance. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement new slot products, technologies, and promotional strategies. Assign overall responsibility and authority for slot operations, including hiring, training, and performance management of department personnel. Coordinate with marketing, finance, IT, and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and promotions. Monitor and respond to guest feedback to enhance the slot experience and service delivery. Review and implement internal security procedures to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity. Develop and recommend changes to the physical layout of slot machines to improve traffic flow and player engagement. Represent the property in interactions with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and technology providers. Plan and implement outreach activities to promote the slot product and strengthen community and industry relationships.

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in slot operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing Slot operations. Must have knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations for the Slot Department. Extensive knowledge of Slot Operations and slot equipment required. Proven track record of managing large teams in a high-volume gaming environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate across all levels. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue, improve guest satisfaction, and ensure regulatory compliance. Must have ability to identify and adopt new technological innovations within the organization. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to lift to 10 pounds and carry up to 5 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must be able to operate a typewriter, telephone, computer, calculator, photocopy machine, fax machine and computer printers. Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and necessary office equipment. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
