Strategic Partnerships Memberships Learnership
is a unique opportunity for youth, recent graduates, and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in driving strategic partnership efforts through SayPro’s
Memberships Programme . The programme is embedded in the
Accreditation Bodies Strategic Partnerships Office , which works closely with various departments, government institutions, private sector entities, and civil society to build lasting, impactful collaborations across a wide range of service areas. This structured, skills-driven programme provides
real-world exposure, mentorship, practical training , and direct involvement in
public service transformation . Key Areas of Learning & Support
As a Learnership participant, you will gain exposure and contribute to areas such as: Strategic partnership coordination Membership engagement planning and reporting Communications and stakeholder relationship building Policy, legal, ICT, HR, and governance support Urban planning, infrastructure, and environmental initiatives Innovation and performance monitoring Capacity-building programmes and knowledge sharing You will be exposed to interdisciplinary programmes including: Human Settlements Energy and Utilities Disaster Risk Management Data Science and Technology Climate Change Social Development and Public Health Finance, Legal Affairs, and Urban Development Who Should Apply
We are seeking motivated individuals who are: Between the ages of 18–35 South African citizens or global youth interested in development work Recent graduates or students in: Public Administration Development Studies Political Science Business, IT, HR, Communications, Urban Planning, or related fields Committed to community engagement, learning, and innovation Eager to contribute to the public good while building professional experience What You’ll Gain
Hands-on experience with one of Africa’s leading public service networks Mentorship from experienced professionals and sector leaders Practical exposure to partnership, membership, and governance work Certificate of Completion and performance reference Monthly stipend (where applicable) Access to SayPro’s continental alumni and opportunity networks
