Essential Functions Include (but are not limited to): Develops and implements a comprehensive learning strategy that addresses current and future workforce needs, including identifying critical skills gaps. Collaborates with leadership to define and align learning initiatives with talent development and business objectives. Optimizes Learning Management Systems (Aspire) to expand digital learning capabilities and virtual instructor-led training. Oversees the development of new curriculum and instructional design of courses. Establishes metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, performance metrics and data analytics. Tracks learner progress and makes data-driven improvements to training initiatives. Provides reporting and insights to executive leadership. Supports company growth during acquisitions by completing due diligence, developing the learning and development plan and timeline, and ensuring successful implementation. Builds, develops and leads a high-performing team of training professionals. Creates leadership development pathways to support internal promotion and succession planning. Maintains significant understanding of industry topics, issues, or news involving markets. Creates and manages the Learning & Development budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources across different training programs. Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Real Estate or related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in a Sr. Leadership Role in Learning and Development. Proficiency in Property Management Systems (Yardi, Yieldstar, CRM IQ). Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory and learning technology platforms. Direct experience and strong working knowledge of the apartment management industry. Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with Fair Housing, OSHA, Compliance requirements relevant to the multifamily housing industry. Professional certification in Learning & Development (CPTD, SHRM-SCP) or Property Management (CAM, CAPS) a plus. Bilingual skills a plus. Must have valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements: Must have normal range of vision, hearing, and speech. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and working on a computer.
