System Director of Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing & Value Analysis
to join our team! Working closely with the Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer, the System Director is responsible for optimizing all strategic sourcing, contracting, and value analysis functions, processes, and systems across the entire health system. This role leads the development, integration, implementation, and optimization of the Strategic Sourcing strategy for all goods and purchased services. Additionally, the Director oversees the system-wide Clinically Integrated Value Analysis program, ensuring timely coordination and execution of product contracting, clinical product review, and collaboration with clinical teams and committees. All duties should promote Aspirus’ mission, values, and philosophies. This position takes strategic direction from the Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer, and is tasked with developing and executing strategies to achieve financial performance, operational efficiency, supply chain excellence, clinical superiority, system standardization, and improved patient and customer experience. The Director focuses on enhancing organizational capabilities, mitigating risks, optimizing processes, building teams, and managing staff development. Establishing effective relationships with executive leaders, clinical staff, and external partners is essential. The role requires foresight, innovation, strategic execution, and risk management, with consultation with the Vice President as needed. Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Experience in budget development, financial strategies, and standards. Minimum of 5-7 years in strategic sourcing or supply chain roles. Certifications such as CMRP, CPM, SPSM, or similar are highly preferred. Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred. Demonstrated leadership, management, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
