What You'll Do
QMS Leadership: Provide comprehensive Quality Management System support and leadership at a specified U.S. satellite location Audit Management: Conduct internal audits of all departments per established schedules, including scheduling meetings, gathering evidence, and creating comprehensive reports External Audit Coordination: Host external third-party audits including customer, surveillance, and recertification audits and auditors Training Development: Develop and present Quality Management System training materials to all organizational areas Calibration Oversight: Coordinate with employees on calibration inquiries and intervals to ensure adherence to calibration requirements Document Control: Create, maintain, control, and distribute Quality System documents throughout the organization Process Verification: Verify process steps across front-end activities, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping operations Compliance Assurance: Maintain Millennium's QMS and ISO 9001 standards while ensuring full compliance achievement Manufacturing Support: Support manufacturing processes by reviewing inspection analyses and comparing activities to documented and customer requirements Continuous Improvement: Assist with maintaining improvements to the Document Control System and overall quality processes Safety Leadership: Observe established safety and housekeeping procedures while promptly correcting hazardous situations
What You'll Bring
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement) Professional Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial environment Quality Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of QMS processes, procedures, and administration Previous ISO QMS training and ISO QMS Certified Internal Lead Auditor certification Experience determining manufacturing process adequacy related to customer specifications
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with intranet, email, and management information systems (MIS) Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Professional Skills:
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities Strong business acumen, organizational, and analytical capabilities Excellent administrative, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Effective verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently Capability to sit and stand for extended periods Bilingual Spanish/English communication is advantageous
