Today, Aspyr focuses on maximizing the potential of games by connecting the world's best games to new audiences across all platforms. Responsibilities:
Report to the Director of Product and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to develop and implement franchise strategies for licensed product lines aligned with company vision. Collaborate with publishing, development, and finance teams to align business plans, franchise development, and marketing strategies for product delivery. Leverage experience in game development and/or product management, strong business acumen, and a passion for high-quality video games. Essential Functions:
Drive IP franchise strategies, including business case development, content creation, and addressing player needs to deliver high-quality games and post-launch content. Partner with product teams and project leads to implement long-term franchise strategies, forecast products, and adjust roadmaps as needed. Work with marketing, creative, and sales teams to maximize market impact and success post-launch. Ensure franchise strategies align with business objectives and are delivered effectively. Assess and resolve project concerns within each franchise, in line with company values and strategies. Coordinate with IP holders during greenlight and pre-production phases to ensure brand standards and approval timelines are met. Promote products and franchises publicly, including speaking engagements and media appearances on behalf of Aspyr. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of product management experience, with prior roles in video game production or product management. 5+ years in video game development. Experience managing small teams in fast-paced environments. Ability to develop and validate business cases, budgets, P&L, and financial risks for game development and publishing. Strong communication skills with all organizational levels and external partners. Organized, focused, with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Decisive, balancing company, product, player, and partner interests. Proven success managing franchises throughout their lifecycle. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
