Pay Range:

The

Facilities Manager

oversees daily operations of the RJKCCC facilities, including maintenance of building and utility systems, supervision of maintenance staff, and ensuring safety and asset longevity. Responsibilities include:

Supervising daily facility operations and maintenance staff

Making hiring, training, and evaluation recommendations

Monitoring external areas and infrastructure

Managing repairs and working with contractors

Participating in planning and setting priorities with the Program Director

First responder to emergencies (fire alarms, chemical spills)

Developing preventative maintenance plans

Maintaining warranty and equipment records

Overseeing vehicle and equipment maintenance

Purchasing supplies within budget

Ensuring safety and security of facilities and grounds

Reporting and repairing vandalism and damage

Maintaining records for repairs, expenditures, and compliance

Testing and calibrating building systems

Supervising pool maintenance and working with Aquatics Manager

Maintaining Salvation Army vehicles and equipment

Assisting with food pantry operations as needed

Assuming Manager on Duty responsibilities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 7+ years in facilities management

Preferred certifications: CFM, boiler, HVAC, pool operator license

Experience supervising staff (3-5 years)

Strong knowledge of building trades and construction

Leadership and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with software, blueprints, OSHA standards

Willing to work evenings, weekends, on-call

Ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, 21+ years old
