Description ECC is seeking candidates for a
Project Manager
position. This role is the company's "management representative" and is primarily responsible for the safe completion of projects within budget, on schedule, meeting quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading the project team on all aspects such as schedule, budget, risk mitigation, safety, and quality control. The Project Manager initiates actions and manages activities to mitigate risks and successfully complete projects. The position is based in Northern California, with required travel to other locations as necessary.

Plan and direct activities of designated projects to achieve goals within time and funding parameters. Create and review project proposals or plans, determining timeframes, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allocation. Ensure safety and quality are incorporated into planning and execution. Establish work plans and staffing, understanding project scope and risks. Arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Coordinate with project staff to outline work plans, set goals, and assign duties. Direct activities to ensure progress on schedule and within budget. Generate status reports and modify schedules as needed. Analyze costs and schedules, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Manage contractual agreements and change orders. Prepare project reports for management and clients. Provide technical advice and resolve problems with project personnel. Manage issues and disputes professionally and timely. Ensure timely processing of submittals and payments. Coordinate activities with government agencies. Manage supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
Ability to interpret building designs, schematics, and specifications. Effective communication with project stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors. Proficiency in reading and analyzing technical and governmental documents. Strong reporting and negotiation skills. Ability to develop project schedules and experience with Primavera software. Minimum two years of project management experience in construction or environmental remediation. Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed. Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or related fields, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications
Seven years managing large construction or remediation projects. Experience with complex demolition, fixed-price projects, and DoD/Navy projects. Knowledge of California regulations and union labor management. ECC offers a targeted salary range of $135,000 to $150,000 annually, with actual salary dependent on various factors.
