In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to enhance electronic warfare capabilities and mission survivability. We leverage Electronic Systems (ES) technology know-how to be an agile leader in electronic mission and control solutions that help create a safer, cleaner world.

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented

Continuous Improvement Leader

to drive the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is key to fostering a culture of operational excellence, supporting cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency.

The Continuous Improvement Leader will develop and execute a strategic plan for continuous improvement, supporting long-term cultural transformation. The role involves training, mentoring, and guiding teams through structured improvement efforts.

Position is 1st shift on a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Deployment

Develop and implement the annual Continuous Improvement Plan aligned with business objectives and Hoshin Planning.

Partner with manufacturing and functional leaders to identify improvement opportunities and define strategies.

Promote a structured approach to continuous improvement across all areas.

Lean Six Sigma Implementation

Lead training efforts for teams at all levels in Lean principles, focusing on practical application.

Build internal capability through a "train the trainer" model.

Manage a pipeline of improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.

Operational Excellence & Performance Management

Facilitate Kaizen events and guide problem-solving efforts.

Achieve cost savings and productivity improvements through initiatives like cycle time reduction.

Implement Lean Daily Management tools and metrics for visibility and accountability.

Change Management & Communication

Lead change management activities for process and tool adoption.

Communicate progress and impacts organization-wide to foster engagement.

Financial Analysis & Tracking

Collaborate with Finance to quantify project impacts.

Track and report on performance metrics aligned with continuous improvement principles.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.

At least 7 years of experience leading Lean initiatives in manufacturing or operations.

Expertise in Lean/Toyota Production System tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Stand-Up Meetings, and Metric Boards.

Proven record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements.

Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred).

Experience with Lean Daily Management, working across multiple sites or complex manufacturing environments.

Background in high-reliability manufacturing, 5S, Visual Management, and Kaizen leadership.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603

Please note: Salary is based on market pay structures, individual qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
