Job Description BryceTech is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). The PM will provide leadership, strategic direction, oversee administrative, analytical, and strategic communications efforts across OUSD(A&S), ensure high-quality service delivery, manage staff, and serve as the primary contact for contract execution and client engagement in a dynamic environment. The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on acquisition, sustainment, logistics, industrial policy, and defense procurement across the Department of Defense (DoD). OUSD(A&S) develops and oversees policies to deliver defense capabilities effectively, efficiently, and affordably, supporting national security objectives. OUSD(A&S) leads modernization initiatives, strengthens the defense industrial base, promotes innovation, and ensures lifecycle sustainment of military systems. The office oversees supply chain resilience, operational energy, environmental and safety compliance, and materiel readiness to maintain military effectiveness and competitiveness. Minimum Knowledge and Work Description: Assist the Program Manager with customer communication, contract management, and resource management. Guide and support the PM in all OUSD(A&S) communications, issue resolution, technical guidance, and contract performance. Lead and manage a large, multi-organizational team providing administrative, clerical, analytical, and strategic communication services. Ensure all contract deliverables and requirements are accurate, timely, and complete. Provide strategic leadership to align with OUSD(A&S) priorities, policies, and needs. Oversee resource allocation, staffing, training, and professional development to maintain mission readiness. Monitor contract milestones, risks, and deliverables; prepare and submit reports, including monthly and quarterly updates. Communicate policy and business practice changes to ensure team compliance and adaptability. Manage personnel turnover, onboarding, and training for operational continuity. Represent the program in meetings, briefings, and reviews, ensuring proactive stakeholder communication. Qualifications: BS/BA from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Active Secret Security Clearance. Experience leading large teams (30+ personnel) in complex contractual services. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior government officials and stakeholders. Ability to think analytically, reason strategically, and operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Experience supporting the Department of Defense or other federal agencies at an executive level. Program management experience demonstrating collaboration and service delivery across disciplines.
