Position Overview The Data Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the growth and development of the Data Warehouse team, including developers, BA/QA, and support staff. The role involves regular communication with team members, overseeing training processes, managing department communications, and working closely with business partners to deliver technical solutions for data needs. The manager will also design, develop, and document processes to support the Data Warehouse.
Location & Schedule This position is based in Omaha, NE, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 50% in-office presence. Sponsorship for employment visa status is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Data Warehouse team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Coordinate with external vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Manage work procedures, assign tasks, and support employees in resolving work-related problems.
Oversee data feeds and reporting processes, analyzing opportunities for enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, etc.
Knowledge of finance, business, statistics, and insurance principles
Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Proficiency with data manipulation software
Relevant certifications in software, database, or project management
Familiarity with insurance products and rating schemes
Experience with cloud technologies, e.g., Azure
Ideal Candidate

Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels

Strong documentation skills
Analytical skills in mathematics and statistics
