Job Summary The Director of 80/20 & Business Transformation at Gates is responsible for developing a comprehensive enterprise strategy for a sustainable 80/20 program supporting Gates' growth objectives while expanding profitability. This includes customer, product line, manufacturing footprint, and production process simplification and optimization. The right candidate will be skilled in 80/20 workstreams, data/analytics tools, and processes to develop a roadmap for transformative, value-added change to reduce complexity and enhance business agility. They should understand how growth, profitability, and culture can be transformed using the 80/20 approach, with experience leading a mid-large manufacturing organization through full 80/20 implementation and adaptation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Possess a deep understanding of 80/20 methodology, including Quads, Quartiles, Segmentation, Product Line Simplification, P&L Implementation, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Ability to articulate the 80/20 value proposition, change management implications, and guide successful implementation. Develop and build a team of 80/20 SMEs to drive commitment across functions and geographies; create a compelling concept for clients to support 80/20 solutions. Responsible for developing and executing 80/20 strategies in production processes aligned with Gates Production System (GPS) standards to drive manufacturing excellence. Use analysis to evaluate and apply solutions that create value, fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on lean principles, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. Develop effective relationships with regional and global leaders; lead by influence across functions and geographies to impact change. Instill ownership and accountability, with P&L leaders owning the 80/20 processes and taking actions to eliminate complexity and focus on profitable growth. Train, mentor, and coach clients on 80/20 profit and growth strategies to enable independent strategy execution. Keys to Success

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred. 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a mid or large global industrial company, including multi-site responsibility. Deep understanding of 80/20 principles with experience in deployment across divisions, including PLM, manufacturing simplification, and commercial policy deployment. Travel Requirements Ability to travel domestically and internationally, 40-50%. Pay & Benefits
