We are seeking a
Product Analyst
with insurance/product management experience to join our Performance team within the Product Analytics organization. The role involves providing insights on the profit and growth of our Personal Lines products across the country. The Product Analyst will report directly to the Personal Lines Performance Senior Manager. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product Management to design and build financial and operational models and tools for performance reporting and analysis, influencing product improvements. Ideal candidates are collaborative, curious, passionate about data, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with various departments such as Product, Finance, Claims, Reserving, and Operations, as well as the broader organization. Position Compensation Range:
$77,000 - $127,000 Pay Rate Type:
Salary Compensation varies based on job level and location. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates. Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and creating monthly and quarterly reports on Personal Lines results. Perform variance analysis nationwide. Understand drivers of premiums, coverage, claims, and sales performance. Deliver operational insights to meet key performance indicators. Analyze profitability drivers such as production, retention, premiums, trends, and loss ratios. Recommend actions to achieve profitability and growth. Conduct modeling and scenario analysis on production, premiums, and loss trends. Develop and improve reporting resources using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc. Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years in a related role, preferably in Property & Casualty insurance. Education:
Bachelor’s degree with quantitative skills; advanced degrees or CPCU preferred but not required. Mindset:
Self-starter, entrepreneurial, able to identify and develop business opportunities. Thinking Skills:
Logical, structured problem-solving with strategic and financial analysis capabilities. Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze performance data and recommend improvements. Communication:
Effective communicator across various levels and media, including senior management. Teamwork:
Collaborative team player. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint; Think-cell is a plus. Personal Qualifications: Creative, curious, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about data and visualization, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Demonstrates leadership and influence skills. Additional Information:
