Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Work on different product areas of GMI (Back-Office Clearing System) and managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for mid and large size projects including requirement analysis, engineering and design of application components, development, testing, estimation, status reporting, UAT coordination, and release execution. Develop, test, deploy and support the server-side applications within GMI –- utilizing RPG ILE (IBM Report Program Generator Integrated Language Environment) and CL (Command Language). Work in database and interface designing, coding of critical application & batch job programs. Analysis of the system areas with low performances and working on the solution for optimizing the system performance. Work closely with the business and operations users to resolve any system queries, analyzing the queries raised by regulators and extract the required data from the database tables by using the complex SQL queries. Work closely with multiple levels of seniorities and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into technical solutions. Configure and supporting the IBM data replication tool data Mirror, the IBM messaging infrastructure tool MQ. Work on multiple tasks during a business day such as critical support, analysis, and development. Lead the small project teams to complete the development projects within the scheduled timeline. Conducting reviews of codes and test cases; provided post-implementation, application maintenance and enhancement support for the releases done. Mentor, instruct, train, and provide technical guidance to more junior members of the team. Help grow the listed processing team by fully participating in the recruitment process, including conducting first and second round interviews.
